Eva Longoria, Actress and Activist

Eva Longoria is a well know actress, especially for her character "Gabrielle Solis" in the famous Tv Show "Desperate Housewives". But she's also a producer, a businesswoman and an activist. In 2012, as a passionate advocate of education she founded The Eva Longoria Foundation which helps Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship and earned a Masters in Chicano Studies presenting her thesis on "Success STEMS From Diversity: The Value of Latinas in STEM Careers."

In 2020, she awarded the Latino Activism Award, by Latino Entertainment Journalists Association Film Awards.
